Bruce is the founding pastor of Spanaway Christian Center and has served as its Senior Pastor since its inception in 1983. Bruce's calling is pastoral, but his giftings includes teaching and administration. Beside his work at SCC, Bruce is also a member of the graduate adjunct faculty of Faith Evangelical Seminary in Tacoma, WA, the Dean and Chief Administrative Officer of Pacific Bible Institute in Spanaway, WA and having served 19 years on the board (lastly, as General Secretary), of the Fellowship of Christian Ministries International - SCC's fellowship organization - Bruce now serves the fellowship as an advisor to the Board. Beside being the Senior Pastor's wife and "first lady of the congregation" (with all the duties and responsibilities that go with the position), Ginger is also a gifted teacher and talented administrator. But its her gifts of encouragement and wisdom that add a special dimension to the various ministries at SCC. Bruce and Ginger have three children: Bruce Jr, Matthew and Kristin, and a daughter-in-law, Melissa (Matthew's wife).

Tom and Helen were members of the original team that began the work in 1983 that became Spanaway Christian Center.  After four years of faithful service, Tom and his family were sent out to take the pastorate of Christ's Church at Elbe, in Elbe, Washington.   Tom faithfully pastored CCE through many years of growth and change until in 2003 when the Lord directed Tom and Helen to once again join the leadership team at SCC.  Tom is a gifted preacher and evangelist, and oversees, among other things, the visitation ministry at SCC.  Tom has a heart for the people of God and is given to the personal ministry of the Holy Spirit and prayer.  Helen is a real "people person" and a gifted singer who enjoys, among other things, sharing the wisdom and counsel that the Lord has given her and leading worship at SCC. Helen also helps oversee the Women's ministries (including "the Rib Section") at SCC. Tom and Helen have been blessed by the Lord with three sons: Jonathan, Kyle and Erik.

Marty and Robbin are two of the newest members of the SCC leadership team. Originally from Michigan, the Lord 'transplanted' them to the Tacoma area in order that Marty may serve as Youth Minister at First Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, WA. A gifted preacher and teacher, Marty also continues to serve the youngest saints by overseeing the Children's Church ministry at SCC. Robbin is also a gifted teacher and administrator who very much complements Marty's ministry. She likewise is an encourager and enjoys one-on-one ministry with the women of SCC. Marty and Robbin feel a sensing of the Lord which may eventually lead them to senior pastor a church of their own in the mid-county. They continue to prepare for that assignment. Marty and Robbin have two grown daughters and four grandchildren.

Randy is the Youth Pastor at SCC, and prior to his ordination as Elder, served the congregation of SCC as Senior Deacon.  In their secular work, Randy and Dagmar are Postal Supervisors with the US Postal Service.  By his long time faithfulness in the area of Youth Ministries and by his diligent work with the children and youth of SCC, Randy has proven himself to be a man of excellent character and diligence in the things of the Lord.  Randy has an excellent word of exhortation and encouragement, which radiates from a life that honors the Lord Jesus Christ. Dagmar has a gentle heart and spirit, and is active in numerous areas around the church. Randy and Dagmar have two sons, Dijon and Solomon and one daughter, Leslie.
