Visiting a new church, or choosing a church home can be a nerve-wracking experience. All the unknowns can make one feel very out of place and uncomfortable. This 'virtural' tour of SCC - on a typical Sunday morning - is designed to make that first visit a little easier. So... come on in, and meet some of the people who have made Spanaway Christian Center their church home. It's a typical Sunday morning a little after 10:00am...

Everyone seems to enjoy being together.  It's a few minutes before the beginning of service, and everyone is busy talking, reading the morning bulletin or visiting in the fellowship hall with Carrie, "the coffee gal".  There's a wonderful blend of people here -- many different nationalities and backgrounds -- just the way a church should be!

Some of the young people are hanging around the sound booth talking with Bruce and Brandon,"the sound guys".  It's nice to see the young adults involved in the church.  Now, since we're a little early, you may get to hear the worship team making final preparations for the morning service.  You can tell they've played together for some time -- nice mix. And the vocals -- nice harmony. Those gals can really sing.
The service is called to order by Pastor Bronoske and the worship service begins with energy and zeal.   The songs are encouraging and uplifting, and Steve's guitar leads are pretty amazing.  The attitude of worship is wonderful.  And, the prayer requests seem to bring everything into Godly focus.
There's a strong sense of the Lord's presence, and He is recognized as the reason we've gathered together.  And the Holy Spirit -- He's given the liberty to minister through those whom He chooses, and to those whom He will.  The preaching is good -- Biblically-based, doctrinally-sound and well-balanced -- applicable for today -- something you can "take home" with you and use.
The personal prayer at the end of service is encouraging -- as there are needs.  The ruckus in the fellowship hall sounds like everyone's having good fellowship.  And everyone makes you feel welcome.
Now, though this may have been a 'virtual' visit to Spanaway Christian Center on a typical Sunday morning, I can honestly say, this is truly part of who we are and what we are about.  Our desire is to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ by giving praise and glory to the Father through the Spirit.  And we'd love to have you join us!

I invite you to come visit, and see if the Lord would have you become part of the ministry and fellowship that is Spanaway Christian Center.  You are welcome!  Come, make yourself at home -- everyone else has!
